How to book a business game for a team in Latvia
When planning a game in Latvia, separate the needs of a local team from those of a regional group. If colleagues from several countries meet, the brief needs one working language, a clear team allocation method and equal access to the game materials.
Business Life delivers business games in Latvia. Confirmed delivery languages are Russian, Ukrainian, English, German and Spanish. We add another language to the programme only after confirming it separately.
A conditional programme for a team in Latvia
Objective and roles. Conditional scenario: service, project and operations functions lose details when work passes between teams. The session should make those gaps visible first, then give participants room to negotiate new commitments. This text describes a conditional programme.
Why this game. The primary option is Black Square. Its short rounds show how a team combines fragmented information, rotates captains and adjusts tactics. If the secondary objective becomes more important, choose Edges. The game provides material for a debrief on negotiation, partnerships, risk and commitments.
Session scheme. Example brief: 48 participants, a 2-hour total working slot and English delivery. Objective: improve information handovers across service, project and operations teams. The confirmed range is 4–150 people and 1.5–2.5 hours, in person or online. Every participant needs an internet-connected smartphone. People see different parts of the task, and a new captain assembles the team answer in each round. The facilitator confirms team allocation and stage boundaries after reviewing the group composition.
Three debrief questions.
- At which handover did an important detail disappear?
- How did the team check understanding, and which cross-functional commitment should it test in the next project?
- Which action will test the objective “improve information handovers across service, project and operations teams” in the next relevant work task?
When to change the format
If the objective changes, the confirmed range also includes Right the Helm, Happy City, Incentive Space Simulation and The City for Life. Select them by objective, group size and available time rather than by host country.
A 1–3 hour format often fits a conference module. Motivation or change-management work needs a longer protected slot and a stable participant group. Select online or in-person delivery together with the game; confirm hybrid delivery separately.
What the brief must include
State the date, host city, group size, participant roles, working language, objective and its place in the agenda. Add venue restrictions, access time, internet and smartphone requirements. The base price includes the game, facilitator, materials and props; the game cards show the base prices. Venue, equipment, catering, travel and other logistics are quoted separately. We prepare the final proposal after reviewing the brief, delivery format and logistics.
The game provides observations about decisions and interaction in one situation. It is not a psychometric assessment and does not guarantee a change in workplace behaviour. A useful outcome needs an observation, a defined action and a review date.
Next step
Review the catalogue of nine business games and select one or two options. Send the brief through the enquiry form; our team will check duration, language, delivery format and logistics for a session in Latvia.
